Privacy Policy

This policy explains how the Chalenger app (the "App") processes users' personal data in accordance with the GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679).

1. Controller and contact

The data controller is the owner of the App. For privacy matters, write to: mgrgracz@gmail.com.

2. What data we process

Account data — email address and user identifier (authentication and sign-in).
Profile data — nickname and avatar, publicly visible in the App.
User content — rankings you create, results, and proof in the form of photos and short videos.
Technical and diagnostic data — crash and performance information needed to keep the App stable.
Moderation data — content reports and block records that you create.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service (account, content publishing, rankings) — Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Moderation, security, abuse prevention — Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest).
Legal obligations (e.g. handling reports) — Art. 6(1)(c).

We do not use your data for advertising tracking and we do not sell it to third parties.

4. Data recipients and transfers outside the EEA

We use Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database, file storage, server functions, diagnostics) as a processor acting on our behalf. Some data may be processed outside the European Economic Area (including in the USA) — based on GDPR-compliant mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention period

We store account data and related content until the account is deleted. Archived copies of overwritten results and materials subject to moderation proceedings may be kept for a limited, necessary period (up to 30 days), after which they are deleted.

6. Your rights

You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict processing, object, and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO). To exercise your rights, write to mgrgracz@gmail.com.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account in the App settings or by asking us by email. Deleting your account removes the related content, subject to the exceptions described in section 5.

8. Age of users

The App is intended for people aged at least 13. Minors should use it with a guardian's consent.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will notify you of material changes in the App or on this page by updating the date above.
